Conversion by Design
29 / 03 / 2010Whatever industry you are in, whatever business or organisation you run—the universal fact is that you want your website to perform. Good websites aren’t there to look pretty—they exist for a much more specific purpose: to convert.
More than Just Another WordPress Plugin Roundup
24 / 03 / 2010WordPress is great—and with a couple of plugins installed, you can extend it to do almost anything. How many plugins do you really need to run that blog of yours? And which ones are actually causing you more harm than good?
Should My Business Be Blogging?
07 / 03 / 2010Marketing your business is no longer a one way push to your customers. As the world becomes more social, they want to hear your opinions and have the chance to express theirs. Give it to them.
Summing up February
28 / 02 / 2010This last month has definitely been a busy one. A lot of new projects and campaigns have been launched and I think it’s time for a roundup of what’s been happening around this corner of the Interwebs.
Business & Social Media: Compatible or Conflicting?
18 / 02 / 2010Successful marketing and advertising, and therefore business, centres around selling your product to as large and diverse an audience as possible, assuming it is a relevant audience of course.
Web Design Trends and Predictions for 2010
13 / 02 / 2010In 2008 we witnessed a vast amount of photographic designs and the early stages of custom web typography. Last gave some light to illustrative sites, and the one-pagers definitely became very popular. What will 2010 hold?
Giving Blackbeard the Design He Wants
26 / 01 / 2010A view on how to deal with the language of business—from a designer’s shoes. Business owners are like pirates. They are the frugal, greedy sword-wielding swashbucklers who govern the vast expanse of the oceanic realm…

Version 2.1 Site Changes
06 / 01 / 2010Over the past few weeks I’ve been gradually making updates to the site templates to bring them up to version 2.1. After launching the site just over three weeks ago, I’ve had a lot of interesting feedback from friends, colleagues and clients—most of which was very positive.
Site Launch Success Rate
15 / 12 / 2009Ever since getting into web design, I’ve enjoyed watching the hit rates climb after launching a site or project or to analyse the conversion rates of a fresh landing page or email campaign. Studying analytics may sound like a real bore if it’s not your thing—but if it’s your own project or business in question, then I couldn’t think of anything more interesting!
Nuvo 2.0 Launched at last

My portfolio, blog, online store, support centre, project management base and much, much more all wrapped up under one solid brand and url.
Nuvo Server Gets Hacked
05 / 12 / 2009At approximately 2:00PM today, I noticed a strange occurrence in the backend of WordPress.
