Summing up February
28 / 02 / 2010This last month has definitely been a busy one. A lot of new projects and campaigns have been launched and I think it’s time for a roundup of what’s been happening around this corner of the Interwebs.
Version 2.1 Site Changes
06 / 01 / 2010Over the past few weeks I’ve been gradually making updates to the site templates to bring them up to version 2.1. After launching the site just over three weeks ago, I’ve had a lot of interesting feedback from friends, colleagues and clients—most of which was very positive.
Site Launch Success Rate
15 / 12 / 2009Ever since getting into web design, I’ve enjoyed watching the hit rates climb after launching a site or project or to analyse the conversion rates of a fresh landing page or email campaign. Studying analytics may sound like a real bore if it’s not your thing—but if it’s your own project or business in question, then I couldn’t think of anything more interesting!
Nuvo 2.0 Launched at last
14 / 12 / 2009After many days of research, many weeks of design and thousands of lines of code (not to mention the months of development time, testing and fine-tuning) the fully-fledged site is finally online. My portfolio, blog, online store, support centre, project management base and much, much more all wrapped up under one solid brand and url.
Nuvo Server Gets Hacked
05 / 12 / 2009At approximately 2:00PM today, I noticed a strange occurrence in the backend of WordPress. Safari detected that the site I was visiting was suspicious and could infect my machine—yes, I’m on a Mac. This all came across as very strange to me, since I was in the backend of my own site and there was no way I’d installed anything like that…
